Privacy policy
The UK Druze Foundation ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the personal information you entrust to us. This notice explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
We are a community foundation supporting the Druze community across the United Kingdom. You can reach us by email at info@ukdruzefoundation.org for any question about this notice or your personal data.
What we collect
Through the family registration form we collect names, dates of birth, gender, marital status, contact details, addresses, and family relationships for the people you register. We also record the consent text you agreed to, the version of that text, and the date and time of submission.
How we use your information
We use this information only to maintain an accurate community directory, contact families about Foundation activities and events, and meet our governance and reporting obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
Where your data lives
Records are stored on secure infrastructure operated by Supabase, hosted within the European Union. Emails are sent through our own mail server at mail.ukdruzefoundation.org. Access is restricted to authorised committee members and is logged.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, request its deletion, withdraw your consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise these rights please email info@ukdruzefoundation.org.
How long we keep it
We keep registration records for as long as the family is part of the community, plus a reasonable archive period for historical and governance purposes. Records you ask us to delete are first marked inactive and may then be permanently removed on confirmed request.
